Social Media Policy

Introduction Your privacy and confidentiality are my top priorities. As a mental health therapist, I maintain clear boundaries on social media to protect our professional relationship and your personal information. This policy outlines how I engage (or don’t engage) on social media to ensure ethical and professional interactions.

No Client-Therapist Interaction on Social Media To protect your privacy, I do not accept friend or follow requests from current or former clients on social media. Engaging in this way could compromise confidentiality and blur the professional boundaries of our relationship.

Messaging and Communication Social media is not a secure or confidential way to communicate. Please do not use social media platforms to send direct messages related to therapy, appointments, or personal concerns. If you need to reach me, please use my official contact methods (email or phone) listed on my website.

Engagement with My Content I may share mental health-related content for educational and informational purposes. However, interacting with my posts (such as likes, comments, or shares) is completely voluntary and may compromise your privacy. If you choose to engage, please be mindful of your confidentiality.

Online Reviews & Testimonials To maintain ethical standards, I do not solicit or respond to reviews, whether positive or negative, on platforms like Google, Yelp, or social media. If you choose to leave a review, please know that I cannot acknowledge or respond to it due to ethical guidelines.

Boundaries with Professional and Personal Social Media If I maintain personal social media accounts, these are separate from my professional presence. Please do not attempt to engage with my personal accounts, as this could impact the therapeutic relationship.

Questions? If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to contact me through the appropriate professional channels. Your privacy and well-being are my highest priorities.
